(MarketWatch) -- YouTube CEO and co-founder Chad Hurley said his video-sharing
site is encouraging what he calls a "clip culture."
Beyond just the
insertion of ads, I predict that those placements will be auctioned off, like
sponsored advertisements are on Google, InterActiveCorp's Ask.com, Yahoo and
Microsoft's MSN. For now, however, not many technology companies enable this,
besides a small startup called Booyah
Networks.
