Booyah Broadcasting Group Launches
Auction-based Video Ad
Serving Platform
SAN
FRANCICSO – (April 26, 2006) – Booyah Broadcasting Group, a division of Booyah Networks,
Inc., today announced at ad:tech San Francisco the broadband beta launch of its
auction-based video ad serving platform. Beta clients include the Arena
Football League (AFL) and Lifestyle Networks.
Booyah’s
Pay Per Video Commercial (PPvC) platform auctions available video inventory to
the highest bidder using the company’s proprietary Bid for Priority algorithms.
Advertisers pay on a per impression basis. Furthermore, the platform enables
web sites and content owners to better market available ad inventory by
providing a private-labeled, auction-based, ad serving platform, in addition to
serving Booyah’s video commercials to optimize return on ad inventory.
“The
current model for placing broadband video ads mirrors the traditional process
of buying and placing television commercials, a typically complicated, confusing,
and time-consuming process. Booyah is changing that,” says Michael Shehan, CEO
of Booyah Networks. “We took our cues from the traditional Pay Per Click search
engines, which opened up Internet advertising by providing a competitive, self-service,
ad management platform.” The full service tools are set to launch at the end of
the second quarter, adds Shehan.
